Request data deletion.

If you connected an account to ADAM or contacted Butterfly, you can request deletion of the personal information we control.

How to request deletion: Email privacy@butterfly.fm from the connected account and include “Data deletion request” in the subject. Tell us the email address or account ID associated with your request. Do not send passwords or access tokens.

What happens next

  1. We verify the request to protect the account holder.
  2. We delete or anonymize information we control, unless we must retain limited records for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.
  3. We confirm completion or explain any limitation by email.

We aim to respond within 30 days, or within the period required by applicable law. Deletion from third-party advertising platforms may require a separate request to those platforms.

Meta app configuration

For ADAM’s Meta app, set the Data Deletion Callback URL to the production deletion endpoint you operate, and set the User Data Deletion Instructions URL to this page. The static email workflow above is a review-ready fallback for requests; it is not a substitute for a signed callback implementation when Meta requires one.
